Third European Influenza Conference
The Third European Influenza Conference was held on 14-17 September in Vilamoura, Portugal and welcomed more than 1300 attendees from all around the world. A packed programme brought together Influenza experts of different disciplines to combat the impact of epidemic and pandemic Influenza.
ESWI President, Prof. Ab Osterhaus convened the four-day conference on influenza which saw the keynote lecture given by Sir Roy Anderson. The latest research was presented at plenary lectures, symposia, workshops, and abstract presentations which held the delegates’ attention in spite of the beautiful weather outside the conference hotel.
