You are kindly invited to participate in ESWI’s colloquium on influenza preventing policies for children. The event will gather key opinion leaders in paediatrics, family doctors, paediatricians, public health officials, regulatory authorities and academic influenza researchers.
ESWI organizes this scientific symposium in response to the observation that – despite WHO recommendations to routinely vaccinate young children against influenza – only five EU Member States have actually included this target group in their influenza vaccination programmes.
Through various expert lectures and a moderated audience debate, the colloquium aims to:
- address possible hurdles for childhood vaccination
- compare the various influenza vaccination programmes for children
- spark the scientific debate on updated, well-balanced influenza preventing policies for children in Europe.
