In a highly interactive meeting, speakers and attendees focused on the threat of the current Mexican flu pandemic and the different approaches in the various European countries. Practical, ethical and stratigic challenges were discussed. The outcome of these debates will be part of the workshop's minutes, available on this website as of Wednesday 7 October.
ESWI has just released its brand new influenza documentary. The film covers all aspects of the disease, ranging from the characteristics of the flu virus itself to the impact of pandemic and epidemic influenza. This attractive and informative influenza movie (38 min of length), has now been made available free of charge.
