ESWI Respiratory Virus Summit 2024: Call for Applications for ECaS Community

On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, ESWI will be organising its Respiratory Virus Summit, focusing on the burden of disease and new intervention strategies for RSV. The Summit will be held both in Brussels and online. Additionally, through the newly introduced Early Career Scientist (ECaS) Community, five early career scientists will have the opportunity to attend the Summit in person.

Importantly, ESWI will cover the cost of a return economy-class flight ticket from your hometown and back, three nights of accommodation near the summit venue, as well as the registration fee. All additional expenses will need to be covered by the awarded attendees themselves.

In addition to attending the conference on March 5, the selected scientists will be participating in a workshop on the science-policy interface and effective communication of scientific findings to policymakers. This workshop will be hosted by ESWI's podcast host and communication expert, Clare Taylor, and will take place on March 4 at a venue near the Summit.
