"Every breath you take: an update on acute respiratory infections in travelers" symposium
Acute respiratory tract infections (ARI) are a leading cause of health impairments in travelers. As an example, Covid-19 and influenza have been listed as the two most common vaccine-preventable infections in travelers, with incidences of 5% (based on anecdotal data from cruise ships) and 1% (based on seroconversion in symptomatic persons) per month of travel, respectively (Steffen R, et al. J Travel Med 2023).
ESWI is organising the symposium "Every breath you take: an update on acute respiratory infections in travelers" at the 19th Conference of the International Society of Travel Medicine (CISTM19) with the following speakers.
