Influenza Diabetes Community symposium: “Why is Diabetes and Influenza a Killer Combination?”
The Influenza Diabetes Community (IDC) organised the satellite symposium “Why is Diabetes and Influenza a Killer Combination?” at the 12th edition of Options for the Control of Influenza (OPTIONS XII). This session delved into the complex interplay between diabetes and influenza. Chaired by Kirsty Short, ESWI Associate Member, the IDC symposium featured talks by Katina Hulme, Oana Sandulescu and Tor Biering-Sørensen, MD, MSc, MPH, PhD.
