IDC Partner Session - "Breath & Beyond: The IDC - A Model for Interdisciplinary Research Collaboration

This partner session at the 9th World One Health Congress in Lisbon is hosted by the Interdisciplinary Disease Collaboration on Respiratory Infections and Non-communicable Diseases (IDC). The IDC brings together a diverse range of experts united by their interest in exploring and raising awareness of the bidirectional link between respiratory infections and chronic diseases.

After introducing the background, history, and evolution of the IDC, talks will explore the growing evidence demonstrating this bidirectional link, and potential interventions that may prevent hospitalisations and the aggravation of chronic conditions in vulnerable populations.

The IDC is an initiative supported by Astra Zeneca and Sanofi Winthrop Industrie, hosted by ESWI.
