This session highlighted the growing scientific evidence showing the two-way link between respiratory infections & non-communicable diseases, and shared a model for interdisciplinary collaboration to better understand and address this link. Featuring reflections from the largest randomised controlled vaccine trials in Denmark, and exploring the wider burden of respiratory viruses on healthcare systems.
