The European Public Health Alliance's manifesto presents five key priorities, aiming at strengthening public health and securing the EU’s resilience by working on pandemic preparedness and response.

The EC has authorised Arexvy, the first vaccine to protect adults aged 60 years and older, against RSV. This decision marks an important step and has been particularly awaited in light of the increased RSV infections in the EU last winter.

The subcommittee will deal with programmes and specific actions in the field of public health, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products, health aspects of bioterrorism, the European Medicines Agency, and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
