ESWI Activity Report for 2025
ESWI Activity Report provides a comprehensive overview of ESWI’s milestones in 2025, ranging from the successful 10th Influenza Conference to the significant transition of the Influenza Diabetes Community into the broader Interdisciplinary Disease Collaboration (IDC). It also highlights the continued growth of the monthly H5N1 Spotlight bulletin and the ESWI Airborne podcast series.
Our communications strategy remains focused on addressing health misinformation, strengthening ESWI’s visibility, and fostering deeper engagement with our audiences. A central part of this effort is the ESWI Education Hub, which has become a leading educational resource for respiratory virus information across Europe and beyond. To support this, we have optimised our research tools, making it easier to navigate content by topic, risk group, FAQs and expert profiles.
ESWI continues to bridge the gap between science and policy through our annual Science Policy Interface Roundtable and Respiratory Virus Summit, while remaining dedicated to expanding our coalition partnerships and supporting the next generation of early career scientists.
