When Infections Meet NCDs: The Bidirectional Relationship Between Cardiometabolic Conditions and Respiratory Viruses

The Satellite Symposium organised by the ESWI IDC and supported by IFPMA and Sanofi at the 10th ESWI Influenza Conference is now available to watch. One of the highlights of the session was the formal and decisive transition to a new name: the Interdisciplinary Disease Collaboration (IDC) on Respiratory Infections and Non-Communicable Diseases, a significant shift reflecting its broader mission. This change aims to achieve a better understanding of the bidirectional link between respiratory viruses and non-communicable diseases.
