Consensus Statement: NCDs and Immunisation – Advancing Coordinated Advocacy and Action

Recognising that respiratory infections are an under-recognised contributor to the burden of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), this Consensus Statement identifies priority action areas and provides a shared foundation for continued dialogue, coordinated advocacy, and evidence-informed action to strengthen the integration of adult respiratory immunisation within cardiovascular and respiratory disease prevention and broader NCD policy and practice.
The statement was informed by a virtual roundtable convened by the International Federation on Ageing, and is supported by ESWI.
